Fitfo Labs officially opened its doors
For the first time, we invited friends and new faces into the creative collective for an incredibly fun launch event. Guests were met with quite the surprise as they entered the door. “The entire night felt like we were allowed behind the curtains into a secret creative fantasy workshop,” said Dana Toledo.
The evening kicked off with stunning fine art displays from artists such as Julia Longshore, Fart.PDF, Dana Toledo, and more. The energy continued with the filming of the all-new “ANITE in the LAB” podcast—a show concept developed by Edward and the Fitfo Labs team, designed to encourage musicians to take the stage and showcase their talents. The audience of 45+ in attendance was able to participate and join into the fun on stage as well. The night concluded with a vote for “Song of the Night.”
Thanks to the incredible feedback, the next event is already scheduled for Dec. 7th, featuring even more talented artists.
Artist Spotlight
This week’s artist spotlight shines on Tallahassee’s own Kanise! Kanise, the artist name for Karrie Williams, is a true powerhouse. In a moment of serendipity, her name was drawn as the very first bucket pull of the night—and, fittingly, the first-ever bucket pull for the new show, ANITE in the LAB.
Her song “Jonah Hill” showcased immense potential, blending her beautiful voice with modern, dynamic flows. Paired with vivid, down-to-earth lyrics, her performance created a compelling storytelling moment that deeply resonated with the audience. Once the votes came in, it was no surprise that she won "Song of the Night."
